The plows are on the way from the City of Franklin and Town of Bow. See if you have the skill to not hit the mail box just like the pros. Start out small and try the mini excavator from Robert Starace Homes LLC, then climb up into the large excavator from the Town of New London. Try and fit a round peg in a square hole at the Nortrax backhoe competition. Check out E.J. Prescott as they demonstrate pipe camera inspections and fusion equipment. Learn about surveying with New Hampshire Land Surveyors Assoc. Pike Industries will be bringing a piece of equipment for student to demo. Palmer & Sicard, Inc. will be demonstrating plumbing, sheet metal and HVAC. Safety is number one on any job site, so learn about personal protective equipment, tools, Hi-viz clothing and first aid supplies from Hawkins Safety Equipment LLC. After high school continue your education at Vermont Tech and NHTI as they display construction related programs.

This two day event is held annually in September at the Hopkinton Fairgrounds for high school students across NH. We are currently maxed out at over 1,200 high school students registered from 38 schools. This hands-on event allows students to explore career options in construction related fields such as welding, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, site work, engineering, surveying, heavy equipment operation and much more!
