We need your help! If you are an equipment operator and are willing to donate time on either Thursday Sept 18th, Friday Sept 19th or both, please email or call (603-365-6160) Meghan Theriault ASAP. We need operators to stand with all the generously donated equipment so that our high school students can demo it. This is a very important job and with 1,300 students registered this year, we cannot afford to let any of our donated equipment sit idle. Please consider joining us at NH Construction Career Days as a volunteer for equipment demos. Thanks so much! |

Getting caught up this weekend on where we are at for exhibitors and equipment donations. Please join me in thanking the following companies who are participating in this years event that have not been mentioned in the blog posting yet! We can't do it without help from people like this!
NCCER - Build Your Future is a new exhibitor this year. They have also ordered T-SHIRTS for the students this year! Be sure to stop by their booth, and hear about how they can help you find a construction related career path. NCCER is a non-profit organization that helps construction groups and companies implement strong workforce development programs and also assists individuals with obtaining the training and assessments they need to build successful careers in the construction industry.
NCCER WEBSITE - http://www.nccer.org/ Build Your Future - has construction salary information and student resources. A huge Thank you to the NH Department of Education for their Platinum Donation - Printing of the 1,500 Student Career Booklets! This is a huge help financially for our event and we appreciate their assistance in getting these completed for our event.
Last week was the final week for sponsors to sign up to be in the student career booklet! With the help of John Neville Excavating, Inc. we have raised funds toward our event through the new sponsor ads. Next week we will be assembling the booklet layout and getting it off to printing asap!
Last week was extremely busy with a whole slew of exhibitors and heavy equipment getting signed up for the event. Check out our newest sign ups!
A huge thank you to Richard (Dick) Perusse for coming thru in a HUGE way for our event this year! The New Boston Highway Department has committed to bring several heavy equipment pieces; a road grader, tractor backhoe, roller, 10 wheeler with tag-along trailer, 6 wheeler w/front plow and a 160 Excavator! They are very excited about NHCCD being held in New Boston for the first time and are really stepping it up as a first time exhibitor! Thank you so much for your support! We are at a new record for registration this year - over 1,400 high school students are ready to attend NHCCD in less than 3 weeks!
